What is Distribot?

Distribot is an automated digital product distribution layer that lives inside Refactory.world. It surfaces every applicable channel — Stripe checkout, email sequences, MCP server, agent registries, social — for any digital product Refactory produces, with one-click activation. Distribot adds no fee on top of your Stripe processing costs — only minimal fixed infrastructure.

Why Distribot

Three things the distribution layer should always do

We've spent the last year building Refactory. The chain only works if the last mile is as effortless as the build step.

A distribution layer should do three things without ceremony: put every channel behind one catalogue record, take payments without adding its own platform fee, and make products discoverable to AI agents from day one. Distribot ships all three — channels, Stripe checkout at 0% Distribot fee, and an MCP endpoint per product.

01 · Channels

Every surface, one catalogue

Ship to web, Stripe, MCP, partner APIs from the same product record. No re-keying, no per-channel SKUs.

✓ From the Catalogue page
02 · Payments

Stripe checkout, 0% our fee

Stripe Checkout handles payment, tax (via Stripe Tax), refunds, and currency. Distribot adds no fee on top.

✓ No setup, no monthly
03 · Agents

MCP-ready, day one

Every product gets a /distribot/set_product_channel endpoint so AI agents can act on the operator's behalf.

✓ Discoverable via llms.txt
How it works

Add a Refactory product, pick channels, watch it move.

Distribot doesn't replace your store, your CRM, or your invoicing. It connects the product you already built to the surfaces it should live on.

Distribot works in three steps: pull a finished product from your auto-synced Refactory catalogue, toggle the channels it should live on (web storefront, Stripe payment link, MCP agent endpoint, partner API), and watch orders, agent calls, and channel health arrive in one Overview feed. No re-keying, no per-channel SKUs.

Step 1

Pull from Refactory

Your Refactory catalogue auto-syncs. Add any shipped product to Distribot with one click.

Step 2

Pick channels

Toggle web storefront, Stripe payment link, MCP agent endpoint, partner API access — independently per product.

Step 3

See where it lands

Overview gives you a single feed of orders, agent calls, and channel health — no more switching dashboards.

Pricing comparison

How Distribot compares

Distribot distributes AI tools, templates, SaaS access, downloads, license keys, and API products. Each product type maps to a delivery handler — signed URL for downloads, UUID generator for licenses, provisioning webhook for SaaS — so adding a new product is a metadata change in Stripe, not a code change. Distribot adds zero platform fees on top of Stripe — most alternatives charge an additional 1.5–6.5%.

Platform Total fee Merchant of Record Channels
Distribot Stripe's standard rate + 0% Distribot fee Distribot (settlement via Stripe Connect) Stripe + email + MCP + social + agent registries

Operators using Distribot today

Distribot is in production inside the Refactory.world chain today, distributing operator products such as AI tools, templates, and downloads end-to-end — checkout, delivery email, and agent-facing endpoints run live. Operators sign in with the same GitHub identity they already use for Refactory.

The MCP endpoint replaced a Zapier graph that was costing us a hundred hours a quarter.

Pricing that scales with your distribution

Product sales carry 0% Distribot fee. Plans buy the AI credits that power enrichment, broadcasts, SaaS provisioning, and the negotiation agent.

Distribot adds no fee to product sales — operators pay a flat monthly subscription of AI credits starting at €99 a month, with two larger tiers and a negotiated Enterprise option handled by Distribot's own negotiation agent. Credits power AI enrichment, broadcasts, SaaS provisioning, and agent negotiation rounds; usage past the allowance is metered per credit.

Questions humans and crawlers ask

These render as JSON-LD FAQPage in page source so AI agents can answer about Distribot without scraping the whole tree.

Every question on this page is published twice: as visible HTML for humans and as FAQPage JSON-LD for machines, generated from the same source so the two can never drift. AI assistants citing Distribot can quote these answers directly instead of scraping the page.

What is Distribot?
Distribot is the distribution layer of the Refactory.world product chain. When Refactory produces a digital product — an AI tool, template, SaaS access, or download — Distribot picks it up and surfaces every applicable distribution channel (Stripe checkout, email automation, MCP server, agent registries, social) with one-click toggles. The operator chooses which channels to activate; Distribot does the wiring.
How is Distribot different from Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, or Paddle?
Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, and Paddle are merchant-of-record platforms with single-channel distribution (a checkout page on their domain). Distribot is the chain itself — it owns no checkout UI and adds no platform fee on top of Stripe. Payments go through Stripe Checkout (with tax calculated by Stripe Tax), email through Resend, agent discovery through MCP and agent registries. Distribot's only cost on top of your Stripe processing fees is minimal fixed infra (~$20/month).
What kinds of products can Distribot distribute?
Any digital product: AI tools (e.g., the CV Reader), templates, SaaS access, downloads (PDFs, code, assets), license keys, and API keys. Distribot's delivery router matches the Stripe product metadata's ``product_type`` field to a handler — signed URL for downloads, UUID generator for licenses, provisioning webhook for SaaS, key generator for APIs.
Does Distribot handle EU VAT and tax compliance?
Distribot enables Stripe Tax on checkout, which calculates VAT/sales tax at the point of sale. Distribot acts as the merchant of record: sales settle through the platform's Stripe account (tax registrations and remittance follow its Stripe Tax configuration), and producers receive their share via Stripe Connect payouts.
How much does Distribot cost?
Product sales carry 0% Distribot fee — you pay only Stripe's processing rate. Distribot's own revenue is a flat monthly subscription of AI credits, the currency behind AI enrichment, broadcasts, SaaS provisioning, and the autonomous negotiation agent: three published tiers plus a negotiated Enterprise option, with metered overage past the allowance. The ladder on this page's pricing section renders from the same configuration the checkout enforces, so the advertised prices are the charged prices. New workspaces start on a free tier with a one-time trial grant of credits.
What is AI-to-AI Discovery (AAD) and why does it matter?
AAD is the third discoverability layer — after AEO (answer-engine optimization for featured snippets) and GEO (generative-engine optimization for ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity citations). It makes products machine-discoverable through MCP servers, A2A agent cards, and agent registries so AI assistants can recommend or purchase products on a user's behalf. Most distribution platforms stop at SEO; Distribot runs all three.
Is Distribot open to integration with other AI agents?
Yes. Distribot exposes its product catalog as MCP tools, and publishes its server manifest at /.well-known/mcp/server.json (the MCP registry server.json schema); listing on the official MCP Registry follows the production deployment. Any AI agent that supports the Model Context Protocol can list, recommend, and (with user approval) initiate purchase of a Distribot product. An agentic-commerce product feed is served at /distribot/acp/product-feed.json; Agentic Commerce Protocol checkout delegation follows acceptance into a partner program.
How much do the AI product videos cost?
At cost — no markup. You pay exactly what the video costs us to produce, the same € at every plan tier: a Final-quality product video generated with Seedance 2.0 is €1.48. The margin lives in our plans, not in your production costs, and you own the finished video outright.
Can I generate AI product images, and what do they cost?
Yes — generate product images across 4 models (Nano Banana 2, Seedream 4.5, GPT Image 2, FLUX.2 max) right in your media library, billed at cost with no markup (0% margin): you pay exactly what each image costs us to produce, and the exact per-image price is shown live before you generate. You own the finished image.
